Cooperstown Pride and the Otsego Pride Alliance are proud to team up once again to bring back the Cooperstown Pride Block Party for its second year - an uplifting, family-friendly celebration of love, identity, and community.

Set in the heart of the village at Pioneer Park (Main & Pioneer Streets), this year’s block party takes place on Monday, August 11 from 5 - 8 PM—a strategic shift to highlight LGBTQ+ pride beyond June and keep the spirit of visibility and inclusion going strong all summer long.

Fueled by the energy and generosity of our community, last year’s block party raised money to support Cooperstown Central School’s Identity Alliance - an initiative that empowers students and promotes acceptance and understanding within our schools. It’s a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community stands together with open hearts and shared purpose.

Guests can look forward to an evening of music, dancing, and community joy, with live performances, DJ sets, family-friendly crafts, and special Pride-themed offerings from local businesses - plus a few surprise appearances along the way.

Whether you're a resident, a visitor, or an ally - come celebrate Pride the Cooperstown way: bold, joyful, and rooted in unity.
